Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Munchack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hades Hug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hug has chosen Animal I Have Become as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franklin Munchack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
36 - 30 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Hades Hug! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hug throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hug lands a two punch combo.
Hug swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Munchack counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Munchack's corner is telling him to maintain position. Hug is trying to keep Munchack in close.
Munchack sitting in guard here, content to control. Hug is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hug keeping moving, preventing Munchack from controlling successfully. Munchack lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munchack stops Hug from standing up. Munchack trying to control but Hug is working from the bottom. Munchack drops back looking for a leg! Hug is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hug manages to kick Munchack off! Munchack jumps back into Hug's guard. Hug is looking to stand up but Munchack isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hug takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Munchack slips a jab and a cross from Hug.
The fighters circle momentarily. Munchack darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Hug misses with a wild combination.
Munchack half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Munchack has taken the fight to the clinch.
Munchack keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hug's efforts to push away. Munchack keeps control of Hug as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Hug wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Munchack has him pressed against the cage. Hug has had enough of the clinch but Munchack keeps him there for the moment. Hug wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Hug is trying to push Munchack away but Munchack has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Hug breaks from the clinch.
Hug fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hug throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hug swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hug rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Munchack moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hug throws a left and a right that both miss
and Munchack decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hug's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munchack pushes down on Hug's leg and manages to get into half guard. Hug regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Munchack. Munchack passes easily into side control. Nice work. Munchack trying to control the action but Hug is working from the bottom. Munchack gets to mount! Hug was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Munchack has control of Hug's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hug regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hug is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Hug tries to hold on but Munchack pushes him away. Munchack wants to control the pace but Hug is squirming around nicely. Munchack connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Munchack throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hug because Munchack loaded up on that one. Munchack lands with some strikes. Munchack landing strikes from the mount. Munchack takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franklin Munchack dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hug misses with a few strikes there.
Hug misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Munchack closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Munchack stops Hug from getting back to his feet.
Munchack working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Munchack is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Munchack controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Munchack looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Munchack looking to control and managing it successfully. Hug is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munchack looking to control and managing it successfully. Munchack will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Munchack raining down shots from the mount! Munchack controlling the position easily from mount. Hug is squirming around, avoiding Munchack's attempts to control the action. Munchack sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hug wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Munchack has isolated one of Hug's arms. Hug looking to fight him off but Munchack twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Franklin Munchack! After the fight, Franklin Munchack was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
