Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryker Byrd!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byrd just misses with a punch to the body.
Mcclure quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Byrd will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Byrd lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Russ Mcclure has been cut.
Byrd lands with a nice body punch.
Byrd comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mcclure uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Byrd.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcclure on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Byrd ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Mcclure's jaw. Mcclure's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Byrd does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryker Byrd!
Post fight, an emotional Ryker Byrd said 'My opponent had a terrible record coming into this fight but make no mistake - anyone i put my hands on inside this cage is in trouble. I dont care what your plan is - once i hit you your world starts to melt. Stay tuned.'.
