Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rick Lattimore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Carr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Lattimore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lance Carr!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lattimore closes the distance and clinches.
Carr is trying to pull guard but Lattimore turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Lattimore obliges.
Lattimore gets underhooks to prevent Carr's takedown attempt.
Carr blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Carr wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Carr wants a takedown.
Rick Lattimore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lance Carr.
Carr drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lattimore pulls his leg out and moves away.

Carr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lattimore manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Lattimore counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lattimore throws a right hand that Carr ducks under and follows up with a left that Carr also avoids with ease.

and Lattimore counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lattimore was well out of range. Poor timing from Carr.

Lattimore fails in his attempt to clinch.

Lattimore rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Rick Lattimore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As Carr looks to move away, Lattimore throws a big counter combo but Carr just gets out of the way.

Lattimore tries to counter by clinching up but Carr breaks away and moves out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Carr tries for a takedown but Lattimore manages to get underhooks.

Carr has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Lattimore seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Carr can turn it around.

Carr gets control of Lattimore's arms and successfully pulls guard. Carr will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Carr is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lattimore defends well.

Lattimore is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Rabid Dog that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Lattimore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carr on the ground.
Carr is trying to keep Lattimore in close.

Carr wants to get back to his feet but Lattimore is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lattimore has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carr is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Lattimore rolls with it to try and escape but Carr cranks on the arm and Lattimore is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
