The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reynolds misses with a few strikes there.
Reynolds stuffs the takedown attempt from Lesnar. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet. Lesnar shoots in but no luck this time. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lesnar. Bobby Reynolds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar. Reynolds lands a slapping body shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Reynolds. A cross from Reynolds lands. Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Reynolds wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reynolds is working hard here to advance position. Reynolds avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lesnar. Lesnar trying to control from half guard but Reynolds is working away. The fighters are battling for position here. Reynolds manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Reynolds looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lesnar is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lesnar takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Reynolds fails to land with a series of punches.
Reynolds lands a body shot.
Reynolds scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reynolds but Reynolds pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lesnar looks gassed! Lesnar shoots in for a double leg but Reynolds sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reynolds gets the takedown into side control. Reynolds is looking to take a break and control but Lesnar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lesnar is looking to regain half guard here but Reynolds keeps moving and retains side control. Reynolds trying to control the position but Lesnar is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar is trying to control Reynolds's posture but Reynolds avoids it. Reynolds is looking to take a break and control but Lesnar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Reynolds puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Reynolds is trying to control the action in half guard but Lesnar is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lesnar wants to get back to full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lesnar can do anything to dispel that myth. Reynolds is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lesnar walks into a jab. Reynolds scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bobby Reynolds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reynolds bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lesnar's head backwards. Lesnar gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Reynolds scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lesnar doesn't seem bothered though. Reynolds shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Reynolds lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Lesnar slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Lesnar keeping moving, preventing Reynolds from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Reynolds dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Lesnar misses with a takedown and Reynolds counters with a straight right hand. Nice body punch from Reynolds. Reynolds works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Lesnar with a lazy takedown attempt and Reynolds counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lesnar! Reynolds lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Lesnar is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Reynolds postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Lesnar in real trouble here! The ref calls for Lesnar to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
