Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Claudio Gadelha and Wilson Wills Jr. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Wilson Wills Jr was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Wilson Wills Jr!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Gadelha looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wills Jr with the counter takedown but Gadelha avoids it easily.
Wills Jr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Claudio Gadelha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gadelha shoots in for a double leg but Wills Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
And Wills Jr tries to counter it with a takedown but Gadelha pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Gadelha is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Gadelha has his foot on Wills Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wills Jr works his way back into a safe position though.

Wills Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gadelha has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wills Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Gadelha's legs - danger averted.
