Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shirley Leach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikel Kross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Kross does it's job there.
Kross closes the distance and pushes Leach back into the cage.
Leach tries to throw a body punch but Kross avoids it by throwing Leach back against the cage.
Kross throws a head punch that misses.
Leach really is a fat lump.
Leach is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kross is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Leach to the mat. Leach regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Leach has a closed guard, preventing Kross from standing up.
Kross is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Leach controls Kross momentarily but Kross frees himself.
Kross slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leach tries to roll over but Kross keeps him under control.

Leach might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kross is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Leach doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kross.

Leach tries to roll over but Kross keeps him under control.

Leach is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kross jumps into side control!

Kross looks up at the clock and then as Leach takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kross smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

You can see the frustration on Leach's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kross decides to stand back up. Kross steps back and let's Leach get back to his feet.

Kross forces Leach back against the cage and clinches.
Kross has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Leach after a bit of a struggle.
Leach is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kross to keep the fight standing.
Kross pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Leach dives in and grabs Kross's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kross pushes down on Leach's head and hops out.
Kross shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Leach defends it nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Leach shoots in and gets a takedown into Kross's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mikel Kross dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kross pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Leach seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Kross will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kross is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Leach moves out of range of the body kick from Kross.
Kross closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Leach to the mat! Leach manages to get full guard.
Leach has his hands on Kross's head, controlling the position.
Kross stands and throws Leach's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kross lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Leach down.
Leach isn't going anywhere.
Kross wants to lay and pray for a moment but Leach keeps working.

Kross throws an elbow but Leach slips to the side and avoids it well.
Leach is not content to let Kross control the position.
Leach can't do much from the bottom here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Leach closes the distance and clinches up with Kross, looking for a takedown. Leach pushes Kross against the cage but Kross circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mikel Kross showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kross sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Kross is positioning himself well to prevent Leach advancing to mount.
Leach not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Kross is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Leach slips a nice elbow through Kross's hands, connecting with Kross's forehead.
Ground and pound from Leach.
Kross has hold of Leach's hands but Leach slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Leach is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kross is just riding it out for now. Leach eventually gives up the hold.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kross is holding on to half guard well.
And that's the end of the fight!
Shirley Leach showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Kross has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
