Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Loyoto Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urjh Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Loyoto Rua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle avoids the head kick by Rua.
Loyoto Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rua's guard.
Castle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Rua is looking to stand up but Castle isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Castle connects with a couple of short punches.
Castle throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rua works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Castle shoots in and bounces Rua off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Castle won't let Rua get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Castle is working Rua over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Castle takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Castle is keen to just control but Rua is a slippery customer.

Castle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Castle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
