Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Loyoto Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urjh Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Loyoto Rua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Urjh Castle! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castle avoids the head kick by Rua.
Loyoto Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Castle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rua's guard. Castle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Rua is looking to stand up but Castle isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Castle connects with a couple of short punches. Castle throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rua works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Castle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Castle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Castle trying to control but Rua is working from the bottom. Castle postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rua attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Castle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rua takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Castle connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Rua some visible discomfort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Castle thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Castle is looking to take a break and control but Rua is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rua is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Castle lands some shots froms side control. Rua takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Castle scores with punches from side control. Castle stands up. Castle looks gassed! An inside leg kick lands from Rua.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rua throws a sloppy head kick and Castle moves out of range easily. Rua really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Castle shoots in for a takedown but Rua shows good takedown defense. A head kick misses from Rua. Castle decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Rua has one foot on Castle's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Rua misses with a body kick. Castle fails to land the takedown. Loyoto Rua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Urjh Castle. Castle blocks a low kick nicely. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Rua throws a head kick that misses. Castle wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua throws a head kick that Castle semi-blocks.
Castle looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rua! Castle working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Castle can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rua is looking to escape. Rua wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Castle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rua tries to buck Castle off but Castle takes his back! Rua is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Castle keeps control of the position easily here as Rua tries to buck him off.
Castle looking for the RNC. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Castle.
Castle looking to break Rua's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Rua remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Castle will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rua has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Castle trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Rua trying to get back to his feet but Castle is in full control for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Urjh Castle dominated that round. That's time! Rua's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Castle shoots in and bounces Rua off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Castle stays in close to Rua's body and controls the position. Castle trying to control the position from guard on top but Rua is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rua has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Castle off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Castle misses with a jab, cross combination.
Loyoto Rua is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A head kick misses from Rua. Castle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Castle is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castle distracts Rua with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Rua has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Castle off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Castle looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rua! Castle postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rua looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Castle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Castle can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rua is looking to escape. Castle looking to finish with strikes here!
Castle looking to control but Rua is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rua tries to reverse the position but Castle maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rua is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Castle is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rua has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Castle won't let Rua get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Castle scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Rua regains half guard. Rua looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Castle is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Castle content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Rua wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castle content to control rather than advance. Castle wants to take a breather but Rua is having none of it. Castle is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Rua pushes Castle off looking to stand but Castle dives back in and keeps control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Castle looks for a takedown but Rua sprawls well. Castle shoots in for a takedown but Rua shows good takedown defense. Rua misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Castle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rua stops Castle from passing to mount. Castle is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rua has escaped the position, nice work there. Rua is pushing Castle's head away, looking to escape. Castle manages to hold on to the position though. Rua bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Rua throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Urjh Castle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Castle wants to pass the guard but Rua is defending well. Castle decides to stand up. Rua scores with a nice body kick.
Rua scores with a push kick. Rua attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Castle lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Horrible takedown by Castle or perhaps it was just good defense by Rua which made him look bad. Rua looks to land a body kick but Castle moved away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua looks for the body kick but Castle saw that one coming. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rua finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Castle scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Castle drives through with a takedown into guard. Rua keeping moving, preventing Castle from controlling successfully. Rua will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rua wants to get back to his feet but Castle is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Castle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Castle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rua wants to stand up but Castle is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Castle is in close to Rua's body, working some short punches and elbows. Castle seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Castle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Castle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rua keeps working. Castle decides to take the fight back to the feet. Castle misses with a takedown attempt - Rua sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Castle blocks a head kick by Rua.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua throws a leg kick and Castle counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Castle. Castle is working Rua over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Rua keeping moving, preventing Castle from controlling successfully. Castle throws a big right hand that misses. Castle thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rua utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rua working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Castle. Castle trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rua is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Castle is controlling him.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Castle darts in and clinches Rua up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rua wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Castle manages to break the clinch.
Rua throws a head kick that misses and Castle counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Castle is looking to advance position but Rua won't allow it. Castle takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Castle prevents Rua from standing back up.
Castle is keen to just control but Rua is a slippery customer. Castle scoring with strikes to the body and head. Rua kicks Castle off and gets back to his feet. Rua throws a head kick that misses and Castle counters with a takedown into side control. Castle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Castle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Castle trying to control the action but Rua is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Urjh Castle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Castle winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
