The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Carwin gets control of Filipo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Carwin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

and Carwin counters with a shoot takedown. Filipo fights it but they end up in guard.

Carwin is pushing down on Filipo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Filipo is fighting to maintain full guard but Carwin has managed to sneak the leg through.
Carwin is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Filipo!

Carwin stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Carwin moves into range and clinches up with Filipo.
