PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buvaisar Hamidovich Saitiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kwiwan Fogomayu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fogomayu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kyamadu. Kwiwan Fogomayu told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamidovich Saitiev shoots in looking for a takedown. Fogomayu tries to sprawl out of it but Hamidovich Saitiev keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fogomayu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A nice side step and Fogomayu releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Fogomayu working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Possibly an early stoppage but Hamidovich Saitiev doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
