Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Louis Resto III!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Young Blood!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blood clinches up against the cage.
Resto III can't break the clinch.

Blood pulls guard.
Blood keeping moving, preventing Resto III from controlling successfully.
Blood looking to hit a scissor sweep but Resto III is one step ahead there.
Blood pulls Resto III in close to prevent any damage.
Blood can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Resto III controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blood throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blood has his foot on Resto III's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Resto III works his way back into a safe position though.
Resto III tries to free his leg and advance position but Blood is retaining full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Resto III throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Blood throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Resto III tries to bum rush Blood with a series of wild strikes but Blood uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Resto III lands a lovely overhand right.
Blood shoots in and drives through. Resto III sprawls well.
Decent striking displayed by Resto III there.
Nice straight punches there by Resto III. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Resto III.
Blood takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Blood has managed to clinch.
Resto III wants to stall.

Blood breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Resto III throws a series of punches but Blood moves out of range.
Resto III lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Blood looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Blood moves forwards but Resto III connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Resto III scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


Blood is rocked!
Resto III fakes the body blow, causing Blood to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Blood goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
