The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hobbs is looking to take this one to the mat.
Hobbs throws a punch but it's blocked by Ross.
Hobbs drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ross gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hobbs lands an elbow inside.
Hobbs fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fritz Hobbs. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ross tries to circle away but Hobbs has him pinned against the cage.
Ross has had enough of the clinch but Hobbs keeps him there for the moment.
Ross breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hobbs tries to clinch but Ross moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ross tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hobbs was well out of range. Poor timing from Ross.
Ross throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ross throws an overhand right that has Hobbs reeling! Ross follows up with more punches and Hobbs is out cold! This one is all over!
