Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brooks Sumner!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sumner throws a hook but Abcde blocks it.
Abcde staying out of range there.
Abcde tries to clinch up.
Abcde doesn't manage to clinch there - Sumner circles away.
Abcde swings for the body but Sumner moves out of range.
Sumner lands a nice hook to Abcde's body. Abcde takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Abcde tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sumner slips a straight right by Abcde.
Abcde takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Abcde lands a body shot.
Abcde scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

and Sumner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Abcde takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That kick from Sumner tenderised Abcde's leg. Abcde is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Sumner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Sumner throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Abcde stumbling backwards into the cage! Abcde bounces back off the cage towards Sumner, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Sumner lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Sumner celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
