The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kormrok misses with an uppercut
and Kormrok takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Von Kormrok has been cut.
Cranial closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kormrok lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cranial backs up against the cage.
Cranial connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kormrok momentarily.

Kormrok changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cranial looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Cranial parries the strikes from Kormrok easily there. Kormrok is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cranial to escape.

Kormrok remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Kormrok looks up at the clock and then as Cranial takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kormrok smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Cranial's coaches at Hellfire Antechamber have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

The referee asks Kormrok politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kormrok prefers to stall for the moment though.

Cranial takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Cranial switches off momentarily and Kormrok cracks him with a monster right hand! Cranial topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Kormrok dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Kormrok!
