Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andre Lucien!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucien fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lucien throws the kick towards the body but Doe avoids it.
Nice sprawl there from Doe as Lucien shoots in.
Lucien throws a sloppy head kick and Doe moves out of range easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Doe postures up.
Doe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lucien works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lucien wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Doe is now in half guard.
Lucien wants to control but Doe is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Doe thows a huge punch but Lucien dodges it nicely.
Lucien manages to escape and get back to his feet!

That was a close round but I would say that Andre Lucien will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lucien lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Doe circles away quickly and effectively.
Doe is looking to clinch but Lucien is avoiding it.
Lucien throws a hook but Doe avoids it easily.

and Lucien counters with a nice double leg into side control. Doe won't be happy with that.
Lucien lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Doe down.

Lucien wants to control his opponent's hands but Doe gets his hands free.

Doe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lucien is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Doe jumps into side control!

John Doe has got the better of the ground game so far.

Doe postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lucien looks a forlorn figure.

Lucien turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lucien manages to end up in side control.
