Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vincini Rossini!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossini closes the distance and clinches up with Prohaska, looking for a takedown. Rossini pushes Prohaska against the cage but Prohaska circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rossini tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Prohaska swivels and escapes.
Prohaska throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rossini tries to clinch up.
Rossini closes this distance looking for a takedown but Prohaska circles away.
Janos Prohaska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincini Rossini.

Rossini postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Prohaska is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rossini, into his guard.

Rossini can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Prohaska controls the pace.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Rossini is desperately trying to improve his position but Prohaska has a good base and remains in mount.

Prohaska takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Rossini controlling the position well.
Rossini wants to control the action here but instead Prohaska manages to pass to full mount!
Prohaska breaks from Rossini's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Rossini can't escape the position.
Rossini really wants to buck Prohaska off and get back to his feet.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Prohaska cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rossini tries to clinch but fails miserably

so Prohaska counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Prohaska stays in close to Rossini's body and controls the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Rossini throws a nice looking combination but Prohaska bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Janos Prohaska is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Prohaska seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rossini for as long as he can get away with.
