Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Tromp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernesto Panado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panado has chosen Lorde - Team as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gunnar Tromp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ernesto Panado! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tromp tries to sprawl but Panado drives through with a takedown into half guard. Tromp wants to get back to his feet.
Panado tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tromp knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Tromp on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tromp tries to get out of the position. Panado stops Tromp from getting back to his feet.
Tromp knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Panado on the ground. Panado works his way into side control. Panado tries to advance to mount but Tromp denies him. Tromp controls the position for a moment. Panado is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tromp is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Panado works to advance to full mount. Tromp defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Panado wants to finish this one by submission but Tromp is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Panado.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tromp is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Tromp tries to reverse the position but Panado maintains control. Panado has control of Tromp's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tromp regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Panado looking for a guillotine from mount but Tromp is having none of it. Panado moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Tromp has worked his arm free - good work by Tromp!
Panado tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Panado moves into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tromp wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Panado is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tromp can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Panado swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Tromp is now in Panado's guard. A big mistake from Panado there, giving up the dominant position! Tromp trying to control the position from guard on top but Panado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Panado tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tromp trying to control but Panado is working from the bottom. Tromp has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Tromp avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Panado has his foot on Tromp's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tromp works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tromp wanted to stand there but Panado had control of the position. Tromp content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Tromp trying to stand up but can't free himself from Panado's guard. Tromp got a little sloppy there for a moment and Panado has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tromp has managed to get both his arms back between Panado's legs - danger averted. Panado wants to sweep here but Tromp controlling him for the moment. Tromp stands up from guard. Let's bang! Tromp misses with a double jab
and Panado counters with a three punch combo that has Tromp backing up. Tromp nods at Panado to acknowledge the strikes. Panado fails with a takedown attempt. Tromp will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Panado lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Panado shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Panado was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Panado tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tromp prevents Panado from improving position. Tromp manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Tromp tries to roll over but Panado keeps him under control. Panado wants to pass to mount but Tromp is defending the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ernesto Panado dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Panado tries for a takedown but Tromp circles away easily and Tromp counters with a left and a right that stings Panado. Tromp misses with a head kick.
Panado dives in and grabs Tromp's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tromp pushes down on Panado's head and hops out. Panado has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Panado tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tromp sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Panado somewhat. Tromp seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Gunnar Tromp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ernesto Panado. Nice takedown defense from Tromp. No joy for Panado on that attempt. Tromp throws a combination. Panado tries to block but a couple of punches get through. A right-left combo lands from Tromp. Panado closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Tromp's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Panado looking to pass the guard. Tromp has Panado pulled in close to control his posture. Panado passes Tromp's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tromp pushes Panado off looking to stand but Panado dives back in and keeps control.
Panado frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Tromp defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Panado. Panado working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Tromp turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Panado off and cradles Tromp's limp body as Panado celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Ernesto Panado! Ernesto Panado thanked the fans post fight for their support.
