Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rafal Zamana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Nash!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamana fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nash let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nash. Zamana does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zamana looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nash motions for Zamana to come forward. Nash throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A jab from Nash misses.
Nash swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice straight punches there by Nash. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nash.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zamana slips a straight right by Nash.
Zamana half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Nash looks to land a right hand but Zamana moved out of range.
Zamana feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Zamana looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Zamana.
A countering left hand to the body from Nash misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rafal Zamana. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zamana shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nash doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Nash digs a good hook to Zamana's body.
Nash scores with a jab to the head.
Nash looks to land a combination but Zamana avoids it well.
Nash connects with a jab.

Zamana gets the takedown into side control.
Nash is trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Zamana has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Nash is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Zamana yanks on the arm and Nash is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Zamana.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rafal Zamana!
