Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jason Bozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCracken is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rebels Song - Come out and Fight. Conor McCracken has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Bozzi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conor McCracken! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCracken looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bozzi misses with a hook. Bozzi misses with an uppercut. McCracken wants to counter the offense by Bozzi and move into the clinch position. McCracken throws a leg kick that is checked and Bozzi counters with a solid body kick. Bozzi blocks a leg kick. Bozzi throws a nice outside leg kick. McCracken ducks down and throws a hook to the body. McCracken feints and then cracks Bozzi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bozzi down. A looping hook to the body misses from McCracken. Bozzi does a little dance to reset his feet. It looked like Bozzi was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Bozzi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCracken misses with a wild body shot. Bozzi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McCracken's head. McCracken shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bozzi swings widly with a right hand
and McCracken counters with a nice uppercut. Bozzi throws a low kick, looking for McCracken's leg but McCracken calmly moves out of range. Bozzi lunges at McCracken with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McCracken's hand. Bozzi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McCracken's head. Bozzi circles away from the clinch attempt.
A jab from Bozzi misses. Bozzi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McCracken. A decent looking body kick lands there for Bozzi. A solid leg kick lands there for McCracken.
Bozzi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McCracken has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Bozzi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. McCracken throws out a leg kick but Bozzi moves out of range and McCracken only half commits.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCracken misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bozzi lands a nice leg kick that just misses McCracken's sensitive parts. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McCracken tries to land a body kick and Bozzi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bozzi pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bozzi backing away here, and McCracken unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Bozzi finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
McCracken shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bozzi as he avoids it easily. Bozzi catches McCracken with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nice takedown defense from Bozzi. No joy for McCracken on that attempt. Bozzi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCracken was well out of range. Poor timing from Bozzi. Bozzi looks to throw the jab but McCracken is out of range. McCracken ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bozzi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McCracken.
The fighters circling - Bozzi throws out the jab but it was never going to land. McCracken appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. A head kick from Bozzi lands but McCracken takes it in his stride. McCracken is looking to land body kicks. Bozzi seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. A solid leg kick lands there for Bozzi.
McCracken staying out of range there. McCracken throws a half hearted mid kick. McCracken misses with a body kick. McCracken tried to score with a low kick but Bozzi checks it. McCracken throws a half hearted mid kick. Bozzi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. A lazy body kick from McCracken and Bozzi counters with a three punch combo that has McCracken backing up. McCracken nods at Bozzi to acknowledge the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Both fighters circling a little - Bozzi finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Bozzi misses with an uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McCracken blocks a head kick by Bozzi.

Bozzi is staying active underneath McCracken, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bozzi pushes McCracken away with a front kick. McCracken throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. McCracken doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bozzi connects with a jab. McCracken takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. An inside leg kick from McCracken misses. Bozzi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCracken moves away. McCracken only half commits to the counter leg kick. McCracken has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bozzi. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCracken keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bozzi. A thudding body kick lands there by Bozzi!

and Bozzi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. McCracken ducks under a wild hook from Bozzi. Bozzi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCracken.
Bozzi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jason Bozzi is winning the standup battle so far. McCracken sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Bozzi is looking to chop away at McCracken's legs. Bozzi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. McCracken misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bozzi counters with a solid body kick. McCracken is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bozzi rather than just go for the knockout. A solid leg kick lands there for Bozzi.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A low kick from McCracken misses and Bozzi counters with a stiff right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McCracken tries for a takedown but Bozzi circles away easily enabling Bozzi to counter with a crisp jab. Bozzi throws a leg kick but McCracken moved away. Bozzi throws out a loose jab but McCracken uses good head movement to avoid it. Bozzi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McCracken counters with a head kick. That will keep Bozzi thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Bozzi checks the leg kick. Bozzi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McCracken. Bozzi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McCracken can do to turn this around? Bozzi scores with a body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. McCracken takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
McCracken needs to keep his hands up - Bozzi had a free shot at his head there. Bozzi connects with a nice looking jab.
Bozzi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. McCracken throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bozzi's head. McCracken drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bozzi dodges the ground and pound from McCracken. What's Bozzi going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McCracken tries for a kimura but Bozzi is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bozzi is positioning himself to get back to half guard. McCracken wants to control for a moment but Bozzi uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Bozzi gets back to full guard.
McCracken working some strikes from top position. McCracken slips nicely into half guard. Bozzi tries to roll over but McCracken keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Bozzi dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
McCracken throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bozzi's waist but Bozzi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McCracken off to one side. McCracken doesn't manage to clinch there - Bozzi circles away.
Conor McCracken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bozzi scores with a slapping inside leg kick. McCracken shoots in looking for a takedown but Bozzi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McCracken's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bozzi gets the takedown into side control. Bozzi works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. McCracken tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bozzi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. McCracken keeps trying to improve his position. Bozzi lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Bozzi tries to stand but McCracken is controlling his head. McCracken is trying to control Bozzi's posture but Bozzi avoids it. Bozzi tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCracken is looking to regain half guard here but Bozzi keeps moving and retains side control. Bozzi just content to control the position. Bozzi works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Bozzi remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Bozzi wants to lay and pray for a moment but McCracken keeps working. McCracken is looking to reverse the position. Bozzi wants to control but McCracken is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McCracken taking punishment in the form of punches.
McCracken tries to bench press Bozzi off him but Bozzi keeps the position. McCracken manages to get back to half guard. McCracken is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bozzi passes to side control. McCracken is looking to reverse the position. Bozzi trying to control the position but McCracken is working away. McCracken looks to move to half guard but instead Bozzi has passed into mount! Damn! McCracken is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bozzi lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
McCracken regains half guard. McCracken moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Bozzi preventing the sweep. Bozzi looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Bozzi scoring with punches to the head and body. McCracken is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bozzi works over McCracken with some ground and pound from guard. Conor McCracken has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCracken keeping moving, preventing Bozzi from controlling successfully. Bozzi with a nice head shot there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bozzi showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bozzi trying to control but McCracken is working from the bottom. Bozzi passes McCracken's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bozzi is working for a kimura but McCracken is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McCracken is looking for a sweep. Bozzi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Bozzi showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bozzi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
