Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seymore Taps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with Collie Buddz - Come Around blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seymore Taps! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jones prevents Taps from getting the reversal. Taps slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Jones is working for a kimura but Taps is defending it quite comfortably.
Taps is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Jones passes the guard and advances to mount! Jones avoids the attempt from Taps to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones looking to control but Taps is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Taps is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea. Taps tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away. Taps working to try and regain half guard.
Taps wants to control but Jones is having none of it. Jones wants to control the pace but Taps is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Taps really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Jones controlling from the full mount. Jones working for a guillotine from mount but Taps is in no mood to give up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Taps is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Jones dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Jones is looking to chop away at Taps's legs. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Taps moves out of range easily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Taps. Taps is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jones looks calm but he's in trouble here. Taps gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jones is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Taps lets go of the hold and Jones can pop his arm back in it's socket.
