Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Joyner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tha Pendejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ryan Joyner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tha Pendejo! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pendejo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Joyner is trying to defend but Pendejo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Pendejo tries to pass to full mount but Joyner defends it. Pendejo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Joyner looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pendejo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pendejo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pendejo scoring with strikes to the body and head. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Pendejo scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Pendejo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Pendejo is thwarting Joyner's attempts to control the position. Still in half guard, Pendejo seems content to control. Pendejo prevents Joyner from improving his position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Pendejo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joyner is bucking up trying to escape but Pendejo cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joyner has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Joyner is trying to break free.
Pendejo is punishing Joyner with strikes - can he finish him?! Pendejo trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Joyner doesn't escape. Pendejo lands a shot to the head. Joyner is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pendejo patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Joyner really is a fat lump. Joyner showing good submission defense here.
Joyner is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pendejo is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Pendejo blocks a jab. Pendejo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. A lull in the action here. Pendejo tries to stand but Joyner is controlling his head. Pendejo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Joyner has escaped the position, nice work there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pendejo tries for a kimura but Joyner is defending well.

Joyner is rocked! Pendejo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pendejo has let go of the choke. Pendejo immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Joyner is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Pendejo!
