Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mister Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Phelps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phelps has chosen Let's Get it On as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mister Dee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leon Phelps!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dee has his takedown stuffed
and Phelps counters with a two punch combo.
Phelps clinches up against the cage.
Phelps has Dee pressed against the cage.
Phelps lands a left hand.
Phelps lands with a right to the head.
Dee has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Phelps after a bit of a struggle.
Phelps pushes Dee back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mister Dee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Phelps lands a nice shot to the body.
Phelps misses with a punch on the inside.
Phelps gets underhooks to prevent Dee's takedown attempt.
A nice left hand lands by Phelps.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Dee.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Phelps pushes Dee back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Phelps tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dee's elbow.
Phelps struggles to land a body shot inside as Dee controls his hands.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Phelps.
Phelps lands a right hand.
Phelps tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Phelps drags the fight down to the ground.
Dee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Phelps swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dee is working hard here to advance position.
Dee is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Phelps is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Phelps has escaped and now he's on top!
Phelps really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Phelps avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dee looking for a guillotine here but Phelps defends easily.
Dee working for a triangle but Phelps defends it easily.
Dee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Phelps doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Phelps manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Phelps accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dee looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Phelps throws a big right hand that misses.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Phelps's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Phelps wants to control from the top but Dee keeps moving.
Dee is looking for a triangle but Phelps pushes his legs off easily.
Phelps avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Phelps got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Phelps has managed to get both his arms back between Dee's legs - danger averted.
Phelps has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dee to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Phelps is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dee pulls down on the head and he's put Phelps to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mister Dee!
