Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Curtis Johnson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Larson Picker!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picker misses with a hook. Johnson ducked under it nicely.
Johnson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johnson throws a low kick but Picker avoids it.
Picker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Johnson.
Picker loads up on a big right hand but Johnson slips the punch.
Picker throws out a powerful jab.
A cross from Johnson lands.
Picker cracks Johnson with a good jab.
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Picker tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Picker to the ground. Picker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Johnson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Picker sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Picker throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A big left from Johnson misses.
Picker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Johnson misses with the combination.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Johnson, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Picker ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Johnson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Larson Picker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Picker on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Johnson. Johnson obviously looking to wear him down.
Picker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Johnson momentarily.
Johnson slips a jab from Picker.
Picker throws the left hand but Johnson avoids the punch easily.
Picker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Johnson.
Picker throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Johnson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Picker gets in close and tags Johnson with a short punch that almost sends Johnson to the mat! Oh Johnson is in big trouble! He turns his back on Picker, trying to create some distance but Picker rushes him, striking wildly and Johnson goes down! The referee tackles Picker into the cage to end the fight! Picker is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Larson Picker!
Larson Picker is the new lightweight champion!
