The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yurmommy throws a hook but Pearson avoids it easily.
We've been told by Pearson's head coaches at Elite Strikers that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Yurmommy on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jab, jab by Pearson - just one landing.
Pearson misses with a hook
and Yurmommy counters with a nice uppercut.
A big left from Yurmommy misses.
Pearson is looking to counter with a body kick.
Yurmommy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Pearson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yurmommy on the ground.
Yurmommy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pearson defends it well.

Yurmommy is keen to just control but Pearson is a slippery customer.

Yurmommy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Yurmommy misses with a hook. Pearson ducked under it nicely.
Yurmommy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pearson swings for the body but Yurmommy moves out of range.
Pearson moves in looking to clinch but Yurmommy pushes him off.
Yurmommy is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Pearson with a body shot.

Pearson tries to clinch up but Yurmommy circles away and keeps his distance.
Pearson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Yurmommy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Pearson misses with a looping right.
Yurmommy throws out a counter right but Pearson avoids it with no problem.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pearson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eyeam Yurmommy dominated that round.

Pearson throws the kick towards the body but Yurmommy avoids it.

Oh Pearson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yurmommy drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Pearson's head, knocking him out cold! Yurmommy is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
