Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marek Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brownie Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brownie Anderson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Marek Koltun's chin.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson swings for the body but Koltun moves out of range.
Koltun misses with a takedown attempt - Anderson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Anderson throws out a counter right but Koltun avoids it with no problem.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Anderson holds on and takes a little breather.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Koltun feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Koltun tries to roll over but Anderson keeps him under control.
Anderson wants to advance to full mount but Koltun doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Koltun bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderson's guard.

Koltun changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to avoid it but Koltun manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anderson to the ground. Anderson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Marek Koltun will probably get the nod.

Anderson cracks Koltun with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Koltun shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It seemed like Anderson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Oh Koltun is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Anderson lands a beautiful left hook that drops Koltun. Koltun tries to recover but Anderson is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Koltun lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
