Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brij Khali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaromir Jag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 72 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Brij Khali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 41 - 86 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Jaromir Jag!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khali gets tackled into the cage by Jag. Jag maintains the clinch.
Knees to the body from Jag.
Khali blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Khali avoiding damage as Jag throws knees to the body.
Khali is working for takedown but Jag is calmly controlling the position for now.
Khali fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Jag breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jag throws a sloppy head kick and Khali moves out of range easily.
Khali misses with a takedown attempt
and Jag counters with a head kick.
Jag has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Jag closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Jag - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Jag stands up and waves to Khali to follow him.

A short body shot lands from Jag as the two fighters clinch.
Jag looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Khali changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jag fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Khali holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Khali drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Khali has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jag after a bit of a struggle.
Jag tries to land knees in the clinch but Khali avoids the damage to the body.
Khali blocks an elbow strike from Jag.

Jag's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Khali shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Khali sets himself, and Jag steps forward looking for the clinch! Khali avoids it this time.

Jag clinches with his opponent.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Jag throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Khali blocks it with crossed arms.
Khali has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jag avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jag decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Khali, up you get!

Jag gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Khali to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Jag manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Jag struggles to land a body shot inside as Khali controls his hands.
Khali wants a takedown.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jag just misses with a elbow thrown towards Khali's brow.

Jaromir Jag showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jag. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Jag is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Khali dives into side control.
Jag is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Khali asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Khali misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Jag tries to escape but Khali is in control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jaromir Jag comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jag winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
