Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Three Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Wiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dog comes to the cage accompanied by Fallout. Wiz has chosen SouthSide as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Big Wiz! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dog moves into the clinch. A nice left hand lands by Dog.

Wiz told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Dog throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wizs head.
It looks like Big Wiz has been cut. Dog blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Dog lands with a short shot to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dog manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Dog had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wiz defends it easily. Wiz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wiz wants to control from the top but Dog keeps moving. Wiz passes Dog's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Dog wants to improve his position but Wiz is controlling well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Dog manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dog looking for a sweep. Not yet Dog, not yet. Dog has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wiz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dog is looking for a triangle but Wiz pushes his legs off easily.
Wiz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dog keeping moving, preventing Wiz from controlling successfully. Wiz wants to pass the guard but Dog is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wiz defends well. Wiz pushing down on Dog's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wiz wants to control from the top but Dog keeps moving. Dog has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wiz is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dog. Wiz looking to control but instead Dog has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wiz stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Three Dog dominated that round. The cut man is working on Big Wiz's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

I was talking to Dog's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Dog misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Dog digs a right hand underneath Wiz's ribcage. Wiz let out a lung full of air as it connected. Wiz lands an elbow just above Dog 's eye. Wiz throws a head punch that misses. Three Dog has scored more points in the clinch so far. Dog can't find room to land a body shot as Wiz controls the action.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wiz wants to control from the top but Dog keeps moving. Dog pushes a forearm under Wiz's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Wiz is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
