Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richard Sullivin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Daniel Henderson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richard Sullivin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Henderson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sullivin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Henderson is fending him off so far but Sullivin persists. Nope, Henderson circles away and we're back to standing. Henderson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Henderson feints and as Sullivin raises his hands in defense, Henderson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sullivin throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Henderson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Sullivin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sullivin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Henderson's guard. Sullivin wants to pass the guard but Henderson is keeping the position. Sullivin wanted to stand there but Henderson had control of the position. Henderson throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Sullivin postures up.
Henderson looking for a sweep. Not yet Henderson, not yet. Sullivin wants to control from the top but Henderson keeps moving. Sullivin throwing strikes but missing. Henderson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Henderson misses with the combination.
Henderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Henderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sullivin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Henderson is looking to pass Sullivin's guard but actually Sullivin recovers to full guard. Henderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Sullivin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sullivin trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sullivin pulls Henderson in to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sullivin is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Sullivin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Sullivin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sullivin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Sullivin seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Henderson is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment. Sullivin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Henderson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Sullivin. That's going to take a lot out of him. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Henderson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Sullivin stalling in the clinch but Henderson improves position. Henderson breaks from the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Sullivin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Henderson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Henderson prevents Sullivin from getting the reversal. Sullivin is bucking up trying to escape but Henderson cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Henderson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Henderson raining down shots from the mount! Henderson landing shots from mount. Sullivin tries to lock up and control but Henderson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sullivin is looking to improve his position but Henderson isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sullivin throwing hammer fists to the chest of Henderson. What's that going to do exactly? Henderson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Henderson controlling from mount. Henderson tries to control but Sullivin wriggling away. Sullivin avoids a series of strikes thrown by Henderson.
Henderson thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Henderson tries to control but Sullivin wriggling away. Sullivin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Daniel Henderson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sullivin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Henderson is fending him off so far but Sullivin persists. Nope, Henderson circles away and we're back to standing. Henderson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sullivin sprawls well initially but Henderson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Henderson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Henderson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sullivin defending well though. Sullivin is trying to control but can't.
Henderson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Henderson is tying to control. Sullivin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Henderson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sullivin defending well though. Sullivin trying to control but Henderson postures up.
Henderson slips a nice elbow through Sullivin's hands, connecting with Sullivin's forehead. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sullivin tries to clinch up. Henderson circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sullivin fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Henderson fails to land the takedown. Henderson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sullivin, pushing him back against the cage. Sullivin is trying to break the clinch but Henderson has him pressed against the cage. Henderson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sullivin backwards. Sullivin can't break the clinch.
Sullivin cracks Henderson with a nice body shot. Henderson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Henderson lands a left hand.
Henderson gets through Sullivin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sullivin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Henderson lands a left hand.

Henderson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Sullivin gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Sullivin wants to control but Henderson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sullivin is pressing down on Henderson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sullivin is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sullivin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Henderson is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Henderson wants to control but Sullivin passes easily into half guard.

Sullivin is trying to control Henderson's posture but Henderson avoids it. Henderson trying to control the action but Sullivin is working from the bottom. Henderson throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Sullivin works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Henderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Henderson with a poor takedown and Sullivin counters with a low kick, right behind Henderson 's knee. Henderson keeps the fight on the outside. A chopping leg kick lands by Sullivin. Sullivin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Henderson tries to bum rush Sullivin with a series of wild strikes but Sullivin uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sullivin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sullivin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Henderson keeps working. Henderson tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Henderson can't do much from the bottom here. Henderson is trying to get back to half guard. Henderson misses with an elbow from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henderson is trying to improve his position. Henderson tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Sullivin easily slips into full mount! Henderson tries to hold on but Sullivin pushes him away. Sullivin scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Sullivin is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Sullivin extends the arm and Henderson is forced to tap!
