Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Lilke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Drover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drover shoots in for a double leg but Lilke sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lilke doesn't succeed with the takedown and Drover counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lilke won't be happy with that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lilke wants to control but Drover postures up. Lilke is looking for a sweep. Lilke can't do much from the bottom here. Lilke is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Drover is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Drover tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Lilke is trying to control Drover's posture but Drover avoids it. Lilke is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Drover stands up and we're back to a striking position. Drover looks gassed!

Lilke is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Drover pulls his head out easily. Drover controlling the action here. Lilke is looking to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lilke keeps the fight on the outside. Lilke looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Drover! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lilke tries to control but Drover wriggling away. Drover is desperately trying to improve his position but Lilke has a good base and remains in mount. Drover somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Drover tries to clinch up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drover with a lazy takedown attempt and Lilke counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lilke. Drover wants to sweep here but Lilke controlling him for the moment. Drover wants to stand up but Lilke is controlling him. Lilke won't allow Drover to sweep him here. Drover is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Drover had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lilke is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Drover Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lilke's back instead. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Drover slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Drover manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Drover pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lilke is keeping the position for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Drover wants to get up but he can't break Lilke's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Drover wants to clinch and Lilke decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Drover's guard. Drover wants to sweep but no luck. Lilke prevents Drover from getting back to his feet. Lilke postures up.
Lilke stands and steps away. Drover gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Lilke gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Drover holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drover lands an elbow that stopped Lilke in his tracks for a moment. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Drover misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lilke.

Lilke looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! This has been an exciting period of action! Lilke shoots and misses and Drover counters with a solid body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Lilke. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lilke circles away from the clinch attempt and Lilke counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lilke stops Drover from standing up. Drover trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Drover pushes Lilke off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Drover is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lilke in particular looking to stall.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Drover looks to clinch so Lilke counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Lilke trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Drover is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Drover has his feet on Lilke's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Drover clinches.
