The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murhaa pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jab by Fungus.

It looks like Pauke Murhaa has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Murhaa.
Fungus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Murhaa misses with a lunging right hand
and Fungus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Murhaa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A counter left hand to the body from Murhaa misses its target.
Murhaa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Fungus! But no joy.
An inside leg kick lands from Murhaa.
Murhaa looks to score with a jab to the body but Fungus is just out of range.
Fungus connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Nice uppercut lands for Murhaa. That snapped Fungus's head back.
Fungus on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Murhaa. Murhaa obviously looking to wear him down.

Murhaa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fungus, pushing him back against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Murhaa lands a right hand.
Murhaa scores with a nice hook to the head.
Fungus tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Fungus struggles to land a body shot inside as Murhaa controls his hands.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Fungus's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Murhaa swings wildly with an uppercut but Fungus uses good head movement to avoid it.
Murhaa scores with a hook to the body.

Fungus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Murhaa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fungus swats away the attempt to clinch by Murhaa.
Fungus misses with a looping left.
Murhaa throws a leg kick but Fungus sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Murhaa lands a head kick!
Murhaa is looking to clinch.
Murhaa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Murhaa throws a lazy body kick
and Fungus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fungus lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Murhaa circles away quickly and effectively.
Fungus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Murhaa.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Murhaa.

Fungus just misses with a punch to the body.
Murhaa lands with a shot to the body.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Fungus lands with a straight right. Murhaa didn't see that one coming.
Fungus moves into range and connects with a jab.
Murhaa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fungus throws the left hand but Murhaa avoids the punch easily.
Murhaa is looking to counter punch.
Fungus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Fungus takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Murhaa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Fungus to counter with a crisp jab.

Murhaa moves into the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Fungus.
Fungus misses with a punch on the inside.
Murhaa lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Murhaa is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Murhaa lands with a short shot to the head.

Fungus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fungus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A big left from Fungus misses.
Murhaa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fungus manages to avoid it.
Murhaa is looking to wear down Fungus with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Murhaa misses with the combination.
Fungus has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Fungus might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Fungus scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Fungus throws out a loose jab but Murhaa uses good head movement to avoid it.
Murhaa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fungus.
Murhaa misses the shot to the body.
Murhaa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Murhaa moves out of range of the strikes.

Murhaa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fungus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fungus lands a lovely overhand right.
Murhaa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fungus.
Fungus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fungus looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
A combination from Fungus does no damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fungus moves out of range of the body kick from Murhaa.
Murhaa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Murhaa misses with a right hand
and Fungus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Murhaa slips a straight right by Fungus.
Murhaa tries to close the distance and clinch but Fungus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Murhaa throws a predictable looking body shot
and Fungus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Murhaa is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Fungus moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
