Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Robin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crack Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crack Head looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Robin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Crack Head! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Skip Squint and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Robin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Head goes for a double leg but Robin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Robin continues to drive forward. A head kick from Head lands but Robin takes it in his stride. Head fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Robin tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Head manages to circle out of the way. Head misses with a takedown attempt and Robin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Jake Robin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crack Head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Head looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Head looks winded! Robin is figuring out what he wants to do next. Robin trying to pass the guard but Head defending well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Robin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Head is trying to defend but Robin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Robin wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Head uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Robin controls from within his opponent's guard. Robin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Head is trying to control Robin's posture but Robin avoids it. Head is looking to regain half guard here but Robin keeps moving and retains side control. Robin is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Head will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Robin in side control lands a decent elbow. Head looks to move to half guard but instead Robin has passed into mount! Damn! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Head sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Robin dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Robin shoots in and bounces Head off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Robin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Head looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Robin puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Head trying to hold on to Robin's head to control him but Robin postures up.
Robin is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Head throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Crack Head is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Head wants to clinch up but Robin keeps it at a distance. Head misses with a looping right. Robin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Head doesn't manage to clinch there - Robin circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Head forces Robin back against the cage and clinches. Head pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Robin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Head can do to turn this around? Head uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Robin. Head connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Head dives in and grabs Robin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Robin pushes down on Head's head and hops out. Head is breathing heavily. Head looks for a takedown but Robin sprawls well. Robin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Head circles away quickly and effectively. Robin leaves Head with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jake Robin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crack Head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Head shoots for a takedown but Robin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Head tries for a takedown but Robin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Robin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Robin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Head did well to prevent Robin getting side control. Head tries to kick Robin off in order to stand up. Robin Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Robin has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Head! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Robin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Robin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Head for as long as he can get away with. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Robin dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Robin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Head manages to avoid it. A bone on bone clash there as Head blocks the leg kick.
Robin scores with a takedown into Head's guard. Robin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Head trying to strike off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robin's corner is telling him to maintain position. Head trying to keep a closed guard but Robin is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Head takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Head is looking to clinch. Robin scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Head shoots in but no luck this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Head shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Robin but Robin pushes him off and we're back to square one. Robin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Robin is working for a kimura but Head is defending it quite comfortably.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Robin. Jake Robin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Head is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Robin jumps into side control! Head being controlled for a moment.

Head takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Head can't do much from the bottom here. Robin content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Robin showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Robin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
