The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menkrylov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Merrill has Menkrylov pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Merrill pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Menkrylov tumbling to the mat - Merrill dives into Menkrylov's guard.
