Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Connolly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kung Fu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connolly comes to the cage accompanied by Sun Kil Moon - Alesund. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connolly scores with a three punch combo!

It looked like Connolly was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Connolly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fu throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Fu fakes the leg kick and cracks Connolly in the body.

Fu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fu wants to clinch.
Connolly tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Fu manages to circle out of the way.

A slapping leg kick lands for Fu.
Connolly dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fu. That did some damage!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That kick from Fu tenderised Connolly's leg. Connolly is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kung Fu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Connolly is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Connolly sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Connolly, pushing him back against the cage.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Connolly crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fu - the referee stops the clock and Connolly gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fu. Connolly manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Kung Fu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
