Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zachariah Sutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seaj Vrinzwal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Seaj Vrinzwal enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zachariah Sutton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Seaj Vrinzwal!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sutton throws a sloppy head kick

and Vrinzwal counters with a shoot takedown. Sutton fights it but they end up in guard.

Vrinzwal avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Vrinzwal throws a big elbow that misses.
Vrinzwal with a flurry of punches that miss.
Vrinzwal trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Vrinzwal is pushing down on Sutton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sutton is fighting to maintain full guard but Vrinzwal has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vrinzwal passes the guard and advances to mount!
Sutton is desperately trying to improve his position but Vrinzwal has a good base and remains in mount.

Sutton is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Sutton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Vrinzwal takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Vrinzwal stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Vrinzwal shoots in looking for a takedown. Sutton tries to sprawl out of it but Vrinzwal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sutton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vrinzwal throws a head kick that Sutton semi-blocks.


It looks like Zachariah Sutton has been cut.

Vrinzwal tries to clinch but Sutton is having none of it.

Vrinzwal closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sutton quickly recovers to half guard.

Sutton manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Vrinzwal keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vrinzwal is on top in guard.

Vrinzwal wants to get up but he can't break Sutton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Sutton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sutton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Sutton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vrinzwal paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sutton jumps guard and drags Vrinzwal to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Sutton wants to stand up but Vrinzwal is controlling him.
Vrinzwal throws a strike but Sutton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


Sutton stands up and waves to Vrinzwal to follow him.
Sutton tries to clinch there but Vrinzwal circles away.
No luck for Vrinzwal with that takedown attempt.
Sutton thinks about countering with a head kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Vrinzwal or perhaps it was just good defense by Sutton, which made it look bad.

Sutton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Vrinzwal drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sutton pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sutton throws a head kick but Vrinzwal moves out of range.

Sutton feints and as Vrinzwal raises his hands in defense, Sutton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Vrinzwal has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sutton is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vrinzwal.

Sutton stands up and beckons Vrinzwal to his feet.

Vrinzwal darts in looking for a takedown but Sutton gets double underhooks and turns Vrinzwal into the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Vrinzwal shoots for a takedown but Sutton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sutton leaves Vrinzwal with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Vrinzwal is fighting to break Sutton's control of his arms but Sutton is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Zachariah Sutton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
