Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Pat Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pipe Surfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pat Hatton has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat Hatton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pipe Surfer! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Surfer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hatton tries to clinch but Surfer moves out of range. Hatton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Surfer's head backwards. Hatton misses with a head kick.
Hatton sets himself, and Surfer steps forward looking for the clinch! Hatton avoids it this time. Hatton clinches up with Surfer and pushes him back against the ropes. A bit of stalling here from Hatton.
Hatton manages to break the clinch.
Hatton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Surfer circles away quickly and effectively. Hatton is breathing heavily. Hatton tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Surfer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Surfer instigates a clinch. Surfer lands a body punch. Surfer pushes Hatton back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Surfer manages to break the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hatton misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Surfer circles away from the clinch attempt and Hatton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Surfer clinches up against the ropes. Surfer goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A frustrated look appears on Surfer's face as he tries to break the clinch. Surfer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Surfer is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hatton is keeping busy. Hatton looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Surfer misses with some punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatton breaks the clinch.
Surfer wants to clinch and Hatton counters with a one-two to the body. Hatton takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Surfer finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Surfer doesn't manage to clinch there - Hatton circles away.
Hatton throws a solid leg kick but Surfer takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hatton. Surfer tries to keep at a distance but Hatton has taken the fight into the clinch. Surfer is trying to break the clinch but Hatton has him pressed against the ropes. Surfer breaks from the clinch.
Surfer tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Hatton manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Pipe Surfer will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Surfer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've been informed that Surfer has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. A combination from Hatton does no damage. Hatton gets tackled into the ropes by Surfer. Surfer maintains the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A frustrated look appears on Surfer's face as he tries to break the clinch. Hatton gets through Surfer's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Surfer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hatton takes a swing at Surfer's ribcage but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatton swats away the attempt to clinch by Surfer. Hatton tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Surfer manages to circle out of the way. Surfer thumps Hatton with a low kick. Surfer throws a chopping leg kick but Hatton manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Surfer lands a two punch combo.
Surfer tries to clinch but Hatton is having none of it. Surfer lands with a nice combination. Hatton backs away looking to recover. Surfer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Surfer has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hatton looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Hatton sets himself, and Surfer steps forward looking for the clinch! Hatton avoids it this time. Surfer has taken the fight to the clinch.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hatton is looking to clinch but Surfer is avoiding it.
Surfer lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Pat Hatton has been cut. Surfer has closed the distance and engaged Hatton in a clinch.
Hatton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Surfer has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hatton stalling in the clinch but Surfer improves position. Hatton misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Surfer.

Pipe Surfer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Pat Hatton's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Surfer tries to break free but Hatton pushes him back against the ropes. Surfer trying to stall but Hatton improves his position.

Surfer gets tackled into the ropes by Hatton. Hatton maintains the clinch. Surfer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hatton misses with a short punch on the inside. Pipe Surfer seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Surfer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hatton has him pressed against the ropes. Hatton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hatton throws a lazy head kick and Surfer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Surfer closes the distance and clinches. Surfer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Surfer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hatton looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Surfer wants to clinch. Pipe Surfer is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Hatton tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Surfer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hatton closes the distance looking to clinch and Surfer counters with a stiff right hand. Pat Hatton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Surfer has managed to clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Pipe Surfer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Surfer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
