The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perrone misses with a takedown attempt
and Beard counters with a left and a right that stings Perrone.
Perrone shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Beard counters by moving into the clinch.

Beard takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Perrone shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Beard eats them both and turns towards Perrone to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Beard's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Beard is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Beard has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

That was a close second round but I would say that Arthur Beard will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
