Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Willard Pace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genki Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Willard Pace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Genki Diaz! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pace pinned against the cage. Pace gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Diaz shoots in but Pace avoids the takedown attempt easily. Diaz dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Diaz is looking to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pace shoots in but Diaz avoids the takedown attempt easily. Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
Diaz fails to land the takedown. Pace is looking to counter with head kicks. Willard Pace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Genki Diaz.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Diaz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pace paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pace slips a straight right by Diaz. Diaz bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Pace shoots in for a takedown but Diaz shows good takedown defense. Diaz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pace throws a sloppy head kick and Diaz moves out of range easily. Pace shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diaz but Diaz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz fails with an attempt to clinch.

Diaz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pace gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Diaz to score an easy takedown into full guard. Pace throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Diaz tries to free his leg and advance position but Pace is retaining full guard. Diaz won't allow Pace to get back to his feet. Diaz controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz gets to his feet. Pace looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Pace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Diaz circles away. Diaz changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Diaz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pace circles away. Diaz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pace defends it nicely. Pace shoots in but Diaz avoids the takedown attempt easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Diaz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Pace defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Diaz. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pace darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Diaz kicks off Pace and gets to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Genki Diaz dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Diaz tries to sprawl but Pace drives through with a takedown into half guard. Diaz wants to improve his position but Pace is controlling well.
Pace wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diaz keeps working. Pace is thwarting Diaz's attempts to control the position. Diaz regains full guard. Nicely done. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz wants to stand but Pace is controlling the position. Pace throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pace preventing the sweep. Pace trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Pace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pace slaps away a takedown attempt from Diaz, before circling back to the center of the mat. Diaz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pace to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Diaz looking for subs off his back but Pace has passed one foot through into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pace is working away from the top position though. Pace trying to control from half guard but Diaz is working away. Diaz moves into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Diaz is wriggling around but Pace manages to pass to half guard.
Pace not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Diaz gets full guard. Diaz has Pace pulled in close to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz wants to hit a switch here but Pace passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Diaz there! Diaz sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Diaz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Diaz is trying is best to control the position here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pace wants to stand up but Diaz has a hold of him and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Willard Pace will probably get the nod. That's time! Pace's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Diaz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pace swivels and escapes. Diaz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Genki Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diaz looks for a takedown but Pace sprawls well. Pace slips a jab and a cross from Diaz.
Diaz tries for a takedown but Pace sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Pace attempts a counter takedown but Diaz avoids it well and moves away. Willard Pace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Genki Diaz. Diaz misses with a low kick. Genki Diaz seems to be getting the better of the standup. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pace shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Diaz sprawls well. Diaz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pace gets slowly back to his feet. Diaz scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pace tries for a takedown but Diaz circles away easily and Diaz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pace avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pace looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Diaz fails with a takedown attempt. Pace changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Diaz tries to avoid it but Pace manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Diaz to the ground. Diaz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Diaz looks for a takedown but Pace sprawls well. Pace thinks about countering with a head kick. Diaz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pace avoids it really well and circles away. Diaz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Diaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Genki Diaz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Diaz throws a head kick but Pace moves out of range.
Diaz shoots for a double leg takedown but Pace sprawls well. He's pushed Diaz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Diaz shoots in looking for a takedown. Pace tries to sprawl out of it but Diaz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pace manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pace changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Diaz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Diaz tries to improve position but can't. Pace decides to take the fight back to the feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pace is defended easily by Diaz. Pace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Diaz circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz misses with a body kick. Diaz throws a right hand that Pace ducks under and follows up with a left that Pace also avoids with ease. Diaz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pace holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Pace wants a takedown.
Diaz controlling the action here for a moment.
Pace has picked Diaz up - he's going for a ride! Pace dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Diaz wants to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Genki Diaz. Well Diaz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
