Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sylvester Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wade Wilson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wade Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon with a lazy takedown attempt

and Wilson counters by clinching up.
Moon taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Moon tries a knee to the head but Wilson blocks it.
Moon tries to pull guard but Wilson won't allow it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Wilson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Moon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wilson but great work by Moon.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wilson can do anything to dispel that myth.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wilson is looking for a sweep. Moon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Moon is working for a submission of some sort.

Wilson makes his way to full guard, as Moon worked for a kimura.
Moon is breathing heavily.
Wilson is looking to stand up but Moon isn't so interested in that idea.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Moon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wilson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moon has Wilson in his guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Moon is trying to escape the position but Wilson is controlling the position.
Moon is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Wilson blocks the strikes from Moon.
Moon punching from the bottom.
Moon tries to kick Wilson off but Wilson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Wilson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Wilson content to control rather than advance.

Moon misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wilson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Moon wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Moon moves into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wade Wilson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Wilson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Moon manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wilson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

I would just about give that final round to Wade Wilson.
Well Wilson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
