Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soul Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Cochise - Audioslave. Shadow comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shadow and Soul kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Arthur Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to clinch but Shadow moves away
and Shadow counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Brown throws a body shot but no joy.
Brown falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shadow counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Brown looks to land a combination. Shadow sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shadow circles away quickly and effectively.

Brown fails in his attempt to clinch.

Shadow lands with a right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brown closes the distance but Shadow moves to the side
and Shadow counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Brown is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shadow avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brown fails to land the takedown.
Brown throws a jab but it's blocked by Shadow.
Shadow connects with a body shot.
Shadow lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Shadow buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Shadow, which made it look bad.

Shadow moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Shadow drops Brown with a straight right hand, right on the button! Shadow follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Soul Shadow!
A very excited looking Soul Shadow made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
