The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Workman clinches up against the cage.
Workman looking to stall.
Minger is trying to break the clinch but Workman is controlling him.
Minger lands a takedown into guard.

Workman throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Minger is working Workman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Workman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Workman wants to sweep here but Minger controlling him for the moment.
Minger is looking to work some ground and pound but Workman has wrist control.

Minger advances to half guard.
Minger perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Workman is looking to improve his position.
Minger tries to pass the half guard into mount. Workman knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Workman tries to get to full guard but Minger has control of the leg.
Minger is nestled in close to Workman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Workman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Minger has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Workman defend it? Minger steps over the head and cranks it - Workman is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Minger!
