The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winters lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Cortez shoots in looking for a takedown but Winters manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cortez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cortez throws a head kick but Winters moves out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Winters darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
