And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Mirkovic!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Igor Mirkovic has been cut.
Mirkovic throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily.
Smith has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Iron Palace in the buildup to the fight.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mirkovic throws a lazy head kick
and Smith counters with a two punch combo.

Mirkovic gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Mirkovic tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Smith is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Mirkovic buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Mirkovic!! Mirkovic is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Smith throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Smith!
In his post fight interview, John Smith started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
