Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eusebio Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tydeas Labeneos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eusebio Marsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tydeas Labeneos!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Topper Green and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labeneos throws a head kick that misses.
Labeneos misses with a series of wild punches.
Marsh tries to counter with a takedown but Labeneos is quick to defend against it.

Marsh gets tackled into the cage by Labeneos. Labeneos maintains the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Labeneos swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Marsh gets caught napping as Labeneos dives in and scores a takedown. Marsh manages to retain guard.
Labeneos engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Labeneos wants to control from the top but Marsh keeps moving.
Marsh is trying to keep Labeneos in close.
Labeneos trying to control the position from guard on top but Marsh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Labeneos stands and throws Marsh's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Marsh tries to improve position but can't.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Marsh wants to control but Labeneos postures up.
Labeneos content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Labeneos stands up and beckons Marsh to his feet.

Labeneos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Marsh pushes Labeneos off and scrambles back to his feet.

Labeneos moves into range and clinches up with Marsh.
Marsh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Labeneos keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Marsh's efforts to push away.

Labeneos is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Marsh is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Labeneos pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Marsh is looking to control Labeneos's arms but Labeneos gets an underhook and turns him. Now Marsh has his back to the cage.

Labeneos manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Labeneos tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Labeneos pulls Marsh in close to prevent any damage.
Marsh postures up.

Marsh missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Marsh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Labeneos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Marsh defends well.

Labeneos closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Marsh's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Labeneos darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Labeneos tries to pass to full mount but Marsh defends it.
Marsh is staying active underneath Labeneos, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Labeneos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Marsh has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Labeneos is on him like a limpet, forcing Marsh back against the cage.
Labeneos doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Labeneos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Marsh tries to sprawl but Labeneos drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Marsh kicks off Labeneos and gets to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tydeas Labeneos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Labeneos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Marsh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Marsh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Labeneos swivels and escapes.
Marsh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Labeneos's waist but Labeneos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marsh off to one side.
Labeneos only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Marsh shoots in and drives through. Labeneos sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eusebio Marsh. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Labeneos ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Labeneos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Marsh gets caught flat footed, as Labeneos shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Marsh scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Labeneos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Marsh manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Marsh wants a takedown.
Marsh is trying to force a seperation but Labeneos has the dominant position.

Labeneos breaks the clinch.
Tydeas Labeneos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marsh fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Labeneos just misses with a punch to the body.

Marsh tries to keep at a distance but Labeneos has taken the fight into the clinch.

Labeneos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tydeas Labeneos is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Tydeas Labeneos.
Well Labeneos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
