The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strauss darts in and clinches Teixeira up against the cage.

Strauss tries to land a front kick but Teixeira steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Oooooh!!! Strauss has knocked Teixeira down with a huge combo! Strauss steps away and waves a wobbly Teixeira back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Strauss batters Teixeira with a massive right followed by a huge left! Teixeira is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Strauss lands a final crushing right hand to drop Teixeira to the mat with a gruesome thud! Strauss is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

After winning the bout, Wilhelm Strauss thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
