Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nickolas Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Floyd Patterson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nickolas Ware!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Floyd Patterson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson moves into the clinch.
Patterson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Ware tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Patterson smiles and moves away.
Patterson closes the distance and pushes Ware back into the cage.
Ware is working for takedown but Patterson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Patterson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ware moves out of range of the body kick.
Ware seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Oooooh!!! Patterson has knocked Ware down with a huge combo! Patterson steps away and waves a wobbly Ware back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Nickolas Ware has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ware gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Ware tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Patterson is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Ware buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Ware!! Ware is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Patterson throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Floyd Patterson!
