The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshihiko shoots in but no luck this time.
Wood fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yoshihiko manages to avoid it.
Yoshihiko is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Wood jabs at Yoshihiko's body.
Yoshihiko missing with a left hand there. Wood was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wood fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Yoshihiko takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wood swings for the body but Yoshihiko moves out of range.
Wood connects with a right hand. Yoshihiko shakes it off.

It looks like Chiba Yoshihiko has been cut.
Wood dances in with a quick combination. Yoshihiko is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Wood snaps Yoshihiko's head back. Yoshihiko stumbles backwards against the cage. Wood steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Yoshihiko's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Yoshihiko just didn't come prepared.
