Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kron Vieira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joshua Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with the combination.
Jackson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vieira looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jackson throws a right hand that misses
and Vieira counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Vieira takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jackson scores with a shot to the body.
Jackson scores with a hook.
We've been told by Vieira's head coaches at Johnson MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jackson digs a good body shot into Vieira's ribs.
Vieira is breathing heavily.
Jackson throws a right hand that Vieira ducks under and follows up with a left that Vieira also avoids with ease.
Jackson throws a jab when Vieira was well out of range.
Vieira feinted with a counter takedown.
A jab from Jackson does it's job there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vieira is defended easily by Jackson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A left and a right from Jackson both land. Nice combination.
Joshua Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vieira tries to move into range but Jackson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Vieira is just out of range.
Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Vieira slips the punch.
Jackson cracks Vieira with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vieira appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Jackson misses with a few strikes there.
Jackson misses with a straight right.
Vieira dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Vieira's head and hops out.
Vieira fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kron Vieira. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Vieira stumbling backwards into the cage! Vieira bounces back off the cage towards Jackson, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Jackson lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Jackson celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Joshua Jackson!
