Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clayton Atkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quincy McBonebrook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quincy McBonebrook! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McBonebrook misses with a body shot.
Atkinson scores with a hook to the body. McBonebrook takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A low kick from Atkinson is predictable there and McBonebrook counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Atkinson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. McBonebrook lands with a short shot to the head. Atkinson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

A jab from Atkinson misses. McBonebrook clinches up against the cage. McBonebrook gets through Atkinson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. McBonebrook lands a knee to the body.

I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. McBonebrook keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Atkinson's efforts to push away. Atkinson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Quincy McBonebrook has been cut. Atkinson lands with a nice body punch. McBonebrook drives through and clinches with Atkinson against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McBonebrook lands a right hand. McBonebrook pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. McBonebrook on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McBonebrook is looking to land body kicks. Atkinson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. McBonebrook checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. A nice side step and McBonebrook releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Atkinson lands a leg kick that knocks McBonebrook off balance momentarily. Quincy McBonebrook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McBonebrook looks to land a body kick but Atkinson moved away. McBonebrook gets off balance looking for a body kick and Atkinson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. McBonebrook lands with a thumping leg kick.

Atkinson tries to bum rush McBonebrook with a series of wild strikes but McBonebrook uses good footwork to avoid the assault. McBonebrook motions for Atkinson to come forward. McBonebrook throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. A head kick by McBonebrook misses and Atkinson counters with a good low kick that McBonebrook was not able to check. McBonebrook lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. McBonebrook misses with a leg kick and McBonebrook takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Atkinson lands a nice looking kick to the body. McBonebrook takes a step back to recover. A nice inside leg kick there by Atkinson. That's going to slow McBonebrook down. Atkinson scores with a one two! McBonebrook had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Atkinson thumps McBonebrook with a low kick. Atkinson slips under a jab from McBonebrook. Atkinson digs a good hook to McBonebrook's body.
McBonebrook closes the distance looking to clinch and Atkinson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. McBonebrook throws a sloppy head kick and Atkinson moves out of range easily. Atkinson moves away from the strike by McBonebrook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clayton Atkinson dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Quincy McBonebrook's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

McBonebrook is still on wobbly legs! Can Atkinson finish him? An inside leg kick from McBonebrook misses. McBonebrook seems to have recovered his senses. Atkinson and McBonebrook are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Atkinson throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking McBonebrook into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Atkinson knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
