The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red Cloud misses with a takedown attempt - Kenda sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Red Cloud looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kenda with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kenda manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Red Cloud manages to get himself to full guard.
Red Cloud wants to stand up but Kenda is controlling him.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kenda can do anything to dispel that myth.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Red Cloud accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Red Cloud gets to his feet and stands over Kenda, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Kenda felt that one! Red Cloud unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Kenda from any more punishment!
