Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Salvatore Hubbard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bran Price!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price lands a right hook to the body.
Hubbard dodges the punch combination from Price.
Hubbard dives in for a single leg takedown but Price sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hubbard enables Price to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hubbard manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Price trying to control but Hubbard is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hubbard looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Price stops Hubbard from standing up.

Price trying to control the position from guard on top but Hubbard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Price buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Bran Price seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hubbard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hubbard is looking for a counter combo.
Price explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Price wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Price scores with a decent looking hook.
Price throws a jab but it's blocked by Hubbard.
Hubbard throws a big counter combination but Price scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Price throws a right and a left that Hubbard avoids nicely.
Hubbard swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Price throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Price fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hubbard to the ground. Price is now in Hubbard's guard.
Hubbard keeping moving, preventing Price from controlling successfully.
Price wanted to stand there but Hubbard had control of the position.
Price trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Price postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hubbard is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Price, into his guard.

Price pulls Hubbard in close to prevent any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bran Price dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



Hubbard gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hubbard is trying to control the position but Price postures up.
Hubbard has control of Price's left arm, preventing Price from doing any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Price passes Hubbard's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Price looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Price working over Hubbard with some ground and pound. Hubbard looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Price has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hubbard gets back to full guard.
Price is looking to pass into half guard but Hubbard pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Hubbard is in guard.

Hubbard cracks Price with a solid left hand.
Price tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Price looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Hubbard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hubbard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Price has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hubbard has managed to get both his arms back between Price's legs - danger averted.
Price pulls Hubbard in to control the position.
Hubbard throws an elbow that misses. Price uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hubbard's guard. Nice move by Price!

Price drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hubbard dives on top into guard.

Hubbard working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Price's head.
Price pulls Hubbard in close to prevent any damage.
Hubbard throwing strikes but missing.
Price is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A close second round but Bran Price will probably get the nod - 10:9.

and Hubbard counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Price tries to bum rush Hubbard with a series of wild strikes but Hubbard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hubbard appears to be looking for a big counter.
Hubbard doesn't manage to clinch there - Price circles away.
Despite the aggression on Price's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A head kick misses from Price.

Price looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hubbard is looking for a sweep. Price is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hubbard keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Hubbard wants to improve his position but Price is controlling well.

Hubbard manages to get to full guard.
Price stopping the sweep attempt from Hubbard.
Price sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hubbard's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Price is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hubbard sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are battling for position here. Hubbard manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Price wants to control from the top but Hubbard keeps moving.
Hubbard is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bran Price is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Price drives through and clinches with Hubbard against the cage.

Price slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Bran Price comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Price has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
