Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lahden Linkki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sigurd Vinci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Linkki comes into the arena with Cypress Hill - Cuban Necktie blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinci slips under a jab.
Vinci tries to counter by closing the distance.
Linkki throws out a loose jab but Vinci uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've been told by Linkki's head coaches at Malmi Aitta that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Linkki comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Linkki misses with a two punch combination.
Vinci slips under a jab from Linkki.
A swing and a miss from Linkki.
Vinci avoids the body shot from Linkki.
Vinci shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Sigurd Vinci has been cut.
Linkki throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Vinci slips a jab from Linkki.
Linkki misses with an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Linkki throws an overhand right that lands on Vinci's shoulder, as Vinci tries to avoid the shot.
Vinci drops his hands momentarily and Linkki takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Linkki missing with a left hand there. Vinci was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Vinci keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vinci takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Linkki lands a nice shot that snaps Vinci's head back.
Linkki drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Vinci right on the button. Vinci goes down! Linkki follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Linkki gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lahden Linkki!
